Toninia thiopsora (Nyl.) H.Olivier

Thallus of usually convex aggregations of proliferating granules, pale to brown-yellow, testing orange with bleach (sodium hypochlorite); apothecia lecideine, black. On exposed, siliceous boulders and rock faces, local but no doubt under-recorded in western Britain.
